Juliana "Obie" Blackmon was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. Her passion for clothes began at age 9 when she started making clothes for her dolls. While attending Aburi Girls school, she began designing outfits for her friends and classmates.

When Obie moved to the U.S.A. in in the 1980's, she took her trade with her. Her first bridal customer literally bumped into her at the fabric store.

Since then, Obie's went from making informal dresses to formal and couture gowns. When Obie relocated to Greenville, SC, she started the company Sew It All.

From then, Obie started working with interior designers, other seamstresses and in bridal shops around the upstate. Then in 2016, Obie decided to take her side work out of the home and open a shop of her own.

"I love to see the difference it makes in people to try on a nice outfit or hang up a window treatment in their new home. It is my way of giving something that is needed to the people around me."
